AnaptysBio is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing first-in-class immunotherapy product candidates for patients. We focus on emerging immune control mechanisms applicable to inflammatory and immuno-oncology indications. We utilize our proprietary antibody discovery technology platform to develop our product candidates, which is based on a breakthrough understanding of the natural process of antibody generation, known as somatic hypermutation or SHM, and replicates this natural process of antibody production in vitro. Our strategy is to advance the development of our proprietary product candidates and, where applicable, establish partnerships with leading biopharmaceutical companies while retaining certain development and commercialization rights.
