Insys Therapeutics is a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of innovative supportive care products. Insys Therapeutics has two marketed products, Subsys and Dronabinol SG Capsules, which leverage its proprietary sublingual spray technology and formulation and manufacturing capabilities for Dronabinol. In March 2012, Insys Therapeutics launched Subsys for the treatment of breakthrough cancer pain (BTCP) in opioid-tolerant patients.
