Zogenix's core strategy is to develop and commercialize differentiated central nervous system (CNS) and pain therapies to address medical needs or overcome limitations of existing products. The company is a specialty pharmaceutical firm with two proprietary product candidates in late-stage development for the treatment of CNS disorders and pain. Our lead candidate product, DosePro™, enables needle-free subcutaneous delivery for the treatment of acute migraine. Our second candidate product, ZX002, is a novel extended-release formulation of hydrocodone for the treatment of chronic pain.
