Basic Information

ReWalk Robotics, Ltd. was founded in 2001 and is an Israeli medical device company that designs, develops, and commercializes innovative exoskeletons, enabling patients who were previously dependent on wheelchairs or other mobility aids to regain the ability to stand and walk independently. ReWalk aims to further commercialize its patented tilt sensor-based exoskeleton technology and suits equipped with computers and motion sensors to guide leg movement. Currently, ReWalk’s designs are intended for use by individuals with paraplegia, complete or incomplete leg paralysis caused by spinal cord injuries, but who retain the ability to use their upper body and arms. ReWalk offers two products: the ReWalk Personal and the ReWalk Rehabilitation. ReWalk has been approved by the U.S. FDA and holds EU CE certification. The company's production model involves outsourcing components while focusing on core self-production and assembly. Additionally, the company plans to phase out the Q-series, a cane-free version, and introduce more advanced and intelligent product lines in the future.
