Perfuze was founded in 2018 by Wayne Allen and Liam Mullins, who together have over 30 years of experience in the medical technology field. Perfuze has developed a next-generation catheter technology called Millipede, focused on creating new treatment options for ischemic stroke patients. Millipede is a highly flexible new technology designed to achieve better treatment outcomes in shorter procedure times, making the treatment process safer and more cost-effective. Perfuze’s first device, Millipede 088, received CE Mark approval and has successfully treated its first group of patients.
