Edap TMS SA is a holding company divided into two segments: HIFU and UDS.The HIFU segment develops, manufactures, and sells devices using HIFU technology for the non-invasive ablation of certain types of tumors. It markets two HIFU devices: (1) Ablatherm, for treating organ-confined prostate cancer; and (2) Focal One, for focal treatment of localized prostate cancer, destroying only targeted cancer cells.The UDS segment develops, manufactures, and markets medical devices for the non-invasive diagnosis or treatment of urological disorders, primarily urinary tract stones and other clinical indications. The company's segments include the High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound division and the Urology Devices and Services division.
