Healthy.io is a digital health startup that utilizes artificial intelligence to provide professional-grade medical imaging services for patients with chronic kidney disease. Its core product, Dip.io, is a home urine testing kit that includes a urine collection container, test strips, and a color comparison card. The product uses colorimetric analysis, computer vision, and artificial intelligence to transform a smartphone camera into a clinical-grade medical device, making urine testing as simple as taking a photograph. During the test, users first collect urine in a cup, dip the test strip into the urine, place it in the slot of the color comparison card, and after 60 seconds, take a photo with their phone and upload it to the app. The mobile app then analyzes markers such as ketones, white blood cells, nitrites, glucose, protein, blood, specific gravity, bilirubin, urobilinogen, and pH levels based on an AI algorithm. These markers cover pathologies ranging from urinary tract infections to ketosis, kidney diseases, pregnancy health, and bladder cancer.
