Kunming Eyes Hospital

Kunming Eyes Hospital, established in 1997, is the first ophthalmic hospital in Yunnan Province to be internationally tendered. It integrates medical treatment, teaching, research, and blindness prevention, equipped with internationally advanced large-scale ophthalmic equipment, and represents a Sino-American cooperative investment of over 10 million US dollars. The hospital is located at Yunrui West Road, Kunming City (next to Victory Hall), and has a top-tier team of experts dedicated to the ophthalmology field, as well as the world's most advanced ophthalmic examination, treatment, and surgical equipment. It covers a medical service area of 10,000 square meters. In 2004, the hospital passed the inspection by China’s Ministry of Health and was accredited as a Class A, Grade 2 specialized hospital.
