Ceterix Orthopaedics Develops Surgical Tools to Expand and Improve Options for Doctors Treating Soft Tissue Injuries Such as Meniscus Tears, Labral Tears in the Hip and Shoulder, and Rotator Cuff Tears. Ceterix's novel suturing device, established in 2010, aims to improve the outcomes of arthroscopic procedures by enabling surgeons to place sutures in patterns that were previously only possible in open surgery or not possible at all. The NovoStitch suture is indicated for use in orthopedic surgery for suturing through soft tissue (specific indications for menstrual tear repair have not been cleared by the FDA).
