Sitka Biopharma

Sitka Biopharma, founded in 2013, is a preclinical biotechnology company dedicated to developing breakthrough nanoparticle platforms. It is a spin-off from the Centre for Drug Research and Development (CDRD) and the University of British Columbia (UBC). The company focuses on advancing its groundbreaking nanoparticle platform technology to enhance drug absorption in hard-to-penetrate tissues. Initially targeting oncology indications, the company is currently developing STK-01 for non-muscle invasive bladder cancer, as well as intraperitoneal administration for ovarian cancer in later stages.
