Basic Information
MitoDys Therapeutics Ltd is a start-up "virtual" company aimed at discovering and developing highly innovative therapeutic agents targeting both motor and non-motor symptoms in Parkinson's disease patients. It utilizes tools of network pharmacology to bridge the interaction between dysfunctional cascades and synergistic cellular and inflammatory functions, with the goal of identifying multi-interventional pharmacological agents designed to alleviate symptoms while altering the disease process. The company is based at the University of Oxford in the UK and has assembled an experienced management team along with a world-class scientific and clinical advisory organization to drive its drug discovery and development programs. The objective is to address two critical goals for Parkinson’s patients: disease modification in early-stage patients and delaying or preventing the onset of dyskinesia in advanced patients, while also addressing non-motor symptoms.
