WindMIL Therapeutics Focuses on Extracting, Activating, and Expanding T Cells Derived from Bone Marrow for Cancer Immunotherapy, Known as Marrow-Infiltrating Lymphocytes (MILs). MILs Represent a Novel Type of Cell Therapy. The Majority of Cell Therapies Rely on Lymphocytes from Peripheral Blood, but MILs Are Derived from Bone Marrow, the Natural Reservoir of Memory T Cells. MILs-Based Cellular Therapy Products Exhibit Unique Features Such as Inherent Tumor Specificity, Maximum Cytotoxicity Due to Memory Phenotype, and Longevity, Making Them Particularly Suitable for Autologous Cell Therapy.
