Option Therapeutics

Option Therapeutics is a clinical-stage company developing innovative drug therapies to treat debilitating and life-threatening liver diseases through our candidate drug BIV201 (continuous infusion of terlipressin). BIV201 has received Fast Track and Orphan Drug designations from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”), which provide certain advantages during the review process but do not guarantee that its development, regulatory review, or approval will be faster than the traditional FDA review and approval process. BIV201 is being evaluated as a treatment option for ascites and other life-threatening complications in patients with advanced cirrhosis caused by metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (“MASLD”), hepatitis, and alcoholism.
