Allogene Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company dedicated to developing allogeneic chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (allogeneic CAR-T) therapies for cancer. Unlike conventional CAR-T therapies, universal CAR-T therapy eliminates the need for the complex and time-consuming process of repeatedly extracting immune cells from patients, editing and modifying them in vitro, expanding them in vitro, and then infusing them back into the patient.
