Radiology Partners (RP) was founded in 2012 by Rich Whitney, the former Chief Financial Officer of DaVita, the second-largest dialysis service provider in the United States, and is headquartered in Southern California. The company focuses on providing high-quality radiology services to hospitals, referring physicians, and patients through innovative technology and clinical collaboration, with the aim of transforming traditional radiology service models. After more than a decade of development, it has grown into the largest medical imaging service group in the United States, with over 3,900 doctors serving 3,260 hospitals and outpatient facilities across all 50 states in the U.S. It has established partnerships with 17 of the 20 largest health systems in the United States and serves an annual patient volume of 52 million.
