MedRec is a project developed by MIT based on cryptocurrency-supported technology for managing medical records using the Ethereum blockchain. It adopts novel blockchain smart contracts to create a decentralized content management system for healthcare data across medical institutions, meeting the needs of patients, the treatment community, and medical researchers.
