Zag Bio has designed bifunctional antibodies targeting the thymus to deliver antigens, where they engage with the body’s natural mechanisms of T cell tolerance, amplifying antigen-specific thymic regulatory T cells (Tregs) while depleting antigen-specific T effector cells (Teff). Thymic Tregs then migrate to diseased tissues, exerting broad protective effects. These thymic Tregs are epigenetically stable and long-lasting, offering the potential for an immune reset with enduring impact.
