Scholar Rock is discovering and developing a pipeline of innovative new medicines to treat a range of serious diseases with unmet therapeutic needs, including neuromuscular disorders, cancer, fibrosis, and anemia. By focusing on understanding the recently discovered mechanisms of growth factor activation, Scholar Rock has been able to develop a proprietary platform for the discovery and development of monoclonal antibodies that locally and selectively target these signaling proteins at the cellular level, enabling proprietary therapeutic effects at the source of the disease.
