Stimwave is committed to developing miniature injectable medical devices in the field of neurology. Its first launch, the Freedom System™, has received FDA approval for treating chronic neuropathic pain in multiple parts of the body. The system includes two major neuromodulation devices: 1. The Spinal Cord Stimulation device (Freedom SCS System), which treats lower back, back, and leg pain; 2. The Peripheral Nerve Stimulation device (StimQ PNS System), which treats shoulder pain, wrist and elbow pain, knee pain, hip pain, and more. This represents a feasible and accessible pain relief option that will allow more patients suffering from pain to receive appropriate pain management while reducing reliance on opioid medications.
