ANRANFI was founded in 2023. Dr. Zhang Yanfeng, the founder, is a professor of neuroscience at the University of Exeter in the UK and a visiting lecturer at the University of Oxford. With over fifteen years of research experience in dopamine secretion and function, he has published numerous significant academic papers in top international journals such as Nature Neuroscience, Neuron, and Nature Communications, and serves as a reviewer for these publications. The Oxford Parkinson's Disease Centre (OPDC), where the founder is based, is the world’s leading interdisciplinary Parkinson’s disease research center. ANRANFI is committed to developing innovative drugs that regulate neurotransmitter secretion, aiming to be first-in-class and best-in-class. In the future, it will address a series of unmet clinical needs globally, drive therapeutic advancements in the field of neuroscience, and benefit a wide range of patients.
