UBE Corporation

UBE Corporation (formerly known as Ube Industries) is a large-scale Japanese conglomerate originating from coal mining. It has now developed into a diversified enterprise with chemicals at its core, operating across pharmaceuticals, construction materials, machinery manufacturing, energy, and other fields. Headquartered in Tokyo, its main base is located in Ube City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. The company is renowned for its high-quality chemicals (such as nylon), cement, machinery (die-casting machines), and pharmaceutical products. In April 2022, it officially changed its name to UBE Corporation.
