NovoNutrients

NovoNutrients, originally named Oakbio, was founded in 2008 and began operations in 2009. The technology platform initially aimed to biomanufacture n-butanol and polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA, a type of biopolymer). In 2017, the company officially changed its name to NovoNutrients, while venturing into the research and development of aquaculture nutrients. It further expanded its business into the food sector, producing high-quality proteins for human and animal consumption using industrial carbon dioxide, inexpensive hydrogen, and natural microorganisms.
