Augustine Therapeutics

Augustine Therapeutics is a Belgian biotechnology company founded in 2019 as a spin-off from VIB-KU Leuven. The company is building a first-class portfolio of small-molecule HDAC6 inhibitors for the treatment of severe peripheral and central nervous system disorders. Its scientific foundation stems from the groundbreaking research of Professor Ludo Van Den Bosch at the VIB-KU Leuven Center for Brain & Disease Research, addressing the underlying mechanisms of peripheral nerve axonal degeneration through selective HDAC6 inhibition.
