Equinox Sciences

Equinox Sciences is a joint venture established by Betta Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. and Tyrogenex. It focuses on the early-stage development of drugs for wet age-related macular degeneration and solid tumors.Tyrogenex contributed assets related to the X-82 oncology indications (including an exclusive license of X-82 intellectual property to the joint venture and the transfer of all obtained regulatory approvals, permits, clinical research data, etc.), while Betta Pharmaceuticals invested 15 million US dollars. Both parties hold 50% of the shares each, and Equinox Sciences owns the global rights (excluding China) to develop and commercialize the X-82 compound for oncology indications.
