Headquartered in North Hollywood, California, the company was founded in 2017 by Abner Mason under the name ConsejoSano, initially concentrating on connecting with Spanish-speaking individuals to schedule telehealth appointments. To reflect its expanding scope and mission, the company was renamed SameSky Health in 2022. The name embodies the broader communities served and the idea that we all live under the same sky — with the belief that everyone should have equitable access to healthcare and the opportunity to enjoy the best possible health and well-being. Today, SameSky Health serves over 2.8 million members across all 50 U.S. states and three U.S. territories, communicating in more than 25 different languages.
