Cyclomics

Cyclomics is a Dutch startup aiming to transform cancer treatment by enabling faster and more reliable diagnostics. Cyclomics has developed a groundbreaking solution capable of detecting cancer recurrence with reliability, speed, and ultra-sensitivity. This is achieved through the detection of ctDNA, a dependable biomarker for determining the presence of cancer, which can be non-invasively obtained from blood samples (liquid biopsy). As 90% of HNC patients carry specific oncogenic DNA mutations in the TP53 gene, the initial application of this new technology focuses on recurrent HNC. To this end, Cyclomics is developing CyclomicsSeq TP53: an in vitro diagnostic (IVD) kit that integrates innovative sequencing methods with state-of-the-art analytical software. The IVD is designed to seamlessly integrate into existing clinical workflows while providing superior diagnostics for clinical decision-making. In the long term, we will expand Cyclomics' solution to other cancer types carrying TP53 mutations.
