WellVine's manufacturer, Sonomaceuticals, was founded in 2009 by Barbara Banke and Peggy Furth with the mission to reduce food waste and enhance global food security. WellVine™ is the first company to offer a whole-food, zero-waste prebiotic ingredient derived from upcycled winemaking grapes. Our Coast Chardonnay grapes are sourced entirely from Jackson Family Wines and are rich in various oligosaccharides and polyphenols, which better support beneficial probiotic communities while minimizing the growth of harmful species. At Sonomaceuticals/WellVine, nutrition and quality go hand in hand. Our production partners not only meet cGMP standards but are also certified by the globally leading food safety standard, BRCGS.
