Basic Information
Annaida Technologies SA, established in 2018, has developed a miniaturized magnetic resonance medical device using Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS) that allows for non-invasive analysis of individual embryos. This device can detect internal metabolism of embryos in a non-invasive manner and perform embryo viability screening with ten times the accuracy of existing technologies. Annaida, a spin-off from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), was co-founded by Dr. Marco Grisi and Dr. Gora Conley, who utilized microchips developed during their Ph.D. studies to create the miniaturized MRS device.
