Basic Information
GLPigs is the name adopted by the preclinical research department of Assaf Harofeh Medical Center, and it is a non-profit organization that provides high-standard services for research involving pigs, sheep, goats, rabbits, and rodents. The GLPigs facility has been accredited by ISRAC (Israel Laboratory Accreditation Authority) and operates in compliance with OECD-GLP principles. The preclinical research department conducts multidisciplinary GLP and non-GLP studies.
