Haemoband Surgical is a developer and supplier specializing in ligation bands and proctology equipment. The company's primary device is the Haemoband-PLUS, the first multi-action, pre-loaded, disposable ligator for the treatment of hemorrhoids. The original Haemoband was developed in 2005 by Essam Ghareeb, a consultant surgeon and the company’s medical director. Together with Colin Foster, the executive director, it was quickly brought to market. Since then, Haemoband Surgical has developed a global market for Haemoband products through an ever-expanding network of customers and distributors.
