IFF Pharma Solutions mainly provides solutions for the development and production of pharmaceutical excipients. IFF's pharmaceutical division produces excipients for oral dosage solutions, with a revenue of approximately $1 billion. It has a global customer base comprising pharmaceutical, food, and nutraceutical companies, ten R&D and production facilities worldwide, and more than 1,100 employees. Last year, the division launched Verdigel SC, a ready-to-use pectin premix for vegan soft capsules in the nutraceutical sector at Vitafoods Europe, enabling manufacturers to offer products free from carrageenan.
