GEICAM, the Spanish Breast Cancer Research Group, is a leading institution in breast cancer research in Spain and currently enjoys international prestige. It consists of more than 900 experts working across over 200 centers throughout Spain. Its main objectives include promoting clinical, epidemiological, and translational research, continuing medical education and dissemination, and providing affected women with information on treatments and their side effects, thereby encouraging their participation in clinical trials.
