Kimer Med is a biotechnology start-up located in Nelson, New Zealand. We are optimizing new broad-spectrum antiviral drugs. Our antiviral drugs are derivatives of DRACO, which has been effective against 15 different viruses in 11 types of tissues in vitro and effective against H1N1 influenza in mice. So far, we have achieved significant success in vitro against 10 different human viruses and identified leading candidates targeting dengue fever and other flaviviruses. A recent in vivo study supports the efficacy and safety of our compounds.
