Metaba is a privately-held biotechnology company based in Santa Monica, California. Metaba has developed a novel drug discovery platform that combines high-performance metabolomics analysis pipelines with computer-aided drug design approaches to accelerate preclinical research and development timelines. Metaba was initially founded to develop an adjunct therapy for tuberculosis. Based on the methodological approach their scientists used to identify new drug targets for tuberculosis and their expertise in metabolomics, the platform was born.
