The Medusa electrode is an FDA-registered Class II (exempt) product, allowing the use of Class III invasive neuromodulation electrodes. Variants of the Medusa electrode can match specific manufacturing plugs with the universal 1.5 DIN connector, which is the standard input/output for neurophysiological devices. In simple terms, the Medusa cable connects the human nervous system to a computer.
