SingleTimeMicroneedles has developed a drug and vaccine microneedle delivery platform that enables animals and humans to access pharmaceutical products. This microneedle patch stabilizes the temperature of drugs and vaccines, eliminating the need for cold chain storage and transportation. The patch can deliver medication immediately or over a period of time, and can also deliver medication separately over weeks or months in a single application. The technology supports most types of vaccines and therapies, including macromolecules, subunit protein antigens, vector vaccines, mRNA, and any compounds that could benefit from multiple/long-term dosing. STM patches have broad applications and are currently planned for use in both animals and humans.
