Vivostat

Vivostat A/S produces and sells a unique system for the on-site preparation and application of autologous concentrated fibrin and platelet-enriched fibrin sealants. The technology was initially developed by Bristol-Myers Squibb in the 1990s at a cost of over 80 million euros. These fibrin sealants aid in surgical healing and infection prevention. Vivostat's products are primarily sold in the EU, with more than 12,500 surgical applications last year alone and over 200,000 since its establishment. The patented Vivostat system is supported by extensive positive research from peer-reviewed journals, demonstrating zero rejection or infection rates.
