Vesper is a clinical-stage biotechnology company and a global leader in Sortilin receptor biology. Its lead program uses sortilin inhibitors to rebalance patients' progranulin levels, as sortilin receptors otherwise reduce circulating and extracellular progranulin, leading to disease. Progranulin is a protein used by the human body to regulate cell growth, survival, repair, and avoidance of inflammation.
