VYBio, founded in 2018 and adhering to the philosophy of doing practical work with dedication and focusing on making good drugs, is committed to the independent development of "first-in-class" innovative drugs. The company focuses on the fields of oncology and hepatitis B cures, addressing unmet clinical needs. The founder of the company has served as the head of new drug research and development in well-known pharmaceutical enterprises both in China and abroad, with over 30 years of experience in the small molecule drug field. The company team consists of more than 20 members, primarily divided into the Medicinal Chemistry Department, Pharmaceutical Science Department, Formulation Department, Medical Affairs Department, Quality Department, and Regulatory Affairs Department. The company's headquarters is located in Shanghai, while its API and formulation labs, pilot plants, and GMP workshops are based in Zhengzhou. The GMP production base covers an area of 30 mu and is a 5-minute drive from Zhengzhou Airport. The company’s R&D pipeline currently includes five small molecule products and three small nucleic acid products. The first oncology product is planned for IND submission in October 2021, with the goal of completing Phase II clinical trials by 2024 and achieving an IPO on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange or STAR Market.
