Vesica Health's mission is to transform the management of patients with hematuria and improve early cancer detection. It is estimated that more than 17 million adults (one in five) experience hematuria each year, a primary symptom of bladder cancer. Despite guideline recommendations, only about 12% of patients are referred to urology for clinical evaluation. As a result, approximately 20% of bladder cancers are missed annually, leading to late-stage diagnoses and higher mortality rates. Vesica has translated 20 years of advanced multi-omics research in bladder cancer into fully validated, commercially available precision diagnostic tests to enhance the evaluation of hematuria, early disease detection, and recurrence monitoring.
