Qorvo Biotechnologies, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Qorvo USA, focuses on developing point-of-care (POC) diagnostic solutions by leveraging Qorvo's innovative bulk acoustic wave (BAW) sensor technology. QBT has developed the Omnia point-of-care diagnostic platform for testing human patients and received Emergency Use Authorization from the FDA for its SARS-CoV-2 antigen test. Using the same BAW technology, QBT has also developed the TRUFORMA point-of-care diagnostic platform for testing companion animals, which has been licensed for sale by Zomedica Corp. and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Zomedica Inc.
