CrossWinds Counseling & Wellness is a non-profit organization that has been serving residents in central and eastern Kansas since 1960. We are the only comprehensive mental health agency in the region dedicated to helping people of all ages achieve wellness. CrossWinds is licensed by the state of Kansas as a Community Mental Health Center (CMHC) and is certified under the Substance Abuse Safety Action Plan. Our mission is to provide high-quality behavioral health care to residents in the most effective, compassionate, and efficient manner possible. CrossWinds currently employs 190 staff members, including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, psychologists, professional counselors, case managers, caregivers, and peer support specialists who focus on behavioral health for children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly.
