Prosidyan, Inc. was founded in 2009 and is dedicated to developing a series of synthetic bioactive bone graft substitutes based on proprietary bioactive glass fibers. Prosidyan's first product, FIBERGRAFT BG Morsels, a synthetic bone graft substitute, received FDA approval in March 2014 and was used for the first time in a surgical procedure featuring this innovative bone graft substitute in May 2014. The company’s second product, FIBERGRAFT BG Putty, received FDA approval in March 2015 and is a combination of FIBERGRAFT BG Morsels with Prosidyan's proprietary bioactive carrier, OSSIGLIDE®.
