PVmed was founded in May 2017 and is located in the Guangzhou Zhongda Science Park. It is a provider of comprehensive solutions that leverage artificial intelligence to empower precision medicine. PVmed holds an internationally leading position in multiple technologies within the field of AI-assisted diagnosis and treatment based on medical imaging.The company's main business involves the research, development, and sales of AI-assisted medical diagnostic systems for medical imaging, providing integrated AI-assisted diagnostic solutions and related technical services. The core technology has been jointly completed by the company’s team of algorithm PhDs. To date, PVmed has applied for over 50 domestic invention patents and more than 20 software copyrights, and was recognized as a National High-tech Enterprise at the end of 2019.Adhering to the concept of AI serving healthcare, PVmed has launched three major comprehensive solutions: PV-iRT (PVmed Intelligent Radiation Therapy) – an intelligent radiation therapy solution; PV-iSA (PVmed Intelligent Surgical Assistance) – an intelligent surgical operation solution; and PV-iCS (PVmed Intelligent Imaging) – a customized intelligent medical imaging software solution. These solutions are empowering precision medicine. Currently, PV-iRT has been implemented in over 30 radiotherapy centers of various sizes across China and has received widespread acclaim from users.Since its establishment, PVmed has achieved remarkable results in numerous industry competitions both domestically and internationally. In 2017, it won the Gold Award in the Artificial Intelligence category of the "Intel Cup" National Parallel Application Challenge, the Innovation Achievement Award, and the Gold Award at the GMIC 2017 G-Startup Worldwide Global Entrepreneurship Competition in Hong Kong. In 2018, it received awards such as the Guangzhou “Red Cotton Plan” and the Leading Talent in Entrepreneurship Award in the Guangzhou Development Zone. In October 2019, during the 16th Annual Meeting of the Chinese Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (CSTRO), PVmed's team won two out of four championships in the specially organized AI-assisted target area delineation competition. In December 2019, PVmed passed the certification as a High-tech Enterprise.
