Xungene Therapeutics

Xungene Therapeutics was founded in 2023 by Professor Zhang Qiangfeng from the School of Life Sciences at Tsinghua University and Professor Wang Yangming from the Academy for Advanced Technology at Peking University. The founding team, led by these two professors, all hold doctoral degrees in related fields. The company aims to develop small-molecule drugs targeting RNA, focusing on rare diseases and cancer as its initial areas. Utilizing proprietary intellectual property in RNA structure probing and artificial intelligence technology, it designs, screens, and evaluates small-molecule drugs in a more efficient and intelligent manner to shorten the research and development cycle, enhance development efficiency, and accelerate drug approval and market entry.
