Urigen Pharmaceuticals is a global leader in non-oncology urological treatments, focusing on the development of innovative products to improve the causes and symptoms associated with urinary tract diseases, particularly interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome (“BPS” or “IC/BPS”). Urology represents a specialized pharmaceutical market of approximately 10,000 physicians in the United States. According to the American Urological Association (“AUA”), urologists treat various urinary tract conditions through surgical or medical means. These include treating cancer, infections, stone disease, neurogenic bladder, overactive bladder, incontinence, prostate diseases, and IC/BPS. We believe that many of these indications represent significant, underserved therapeutic markets. We currently have one product candidate, URG101, in clinical development, and two additional candidates, URG501 and URG801, in preclinical development.
