eHealth Exchange

eHealth Exchange is a non-profit organization, one of the oldest and largest health information networks in the U.S., and the primary means for the federal government to share data among agencies and with the private sector. eHealth Exchange is the only network that connects healthcare providers to five federal agencies, 64 regional and state HIEs, 75% of U.S. hospitals, and 85% of dialysis clinics, which operate on more than 30 electronic health record (EHR) platforms.
