Addimmune

Addimmune is a clinical-stage gene and cell therapy company developing functional cures for HIV. Addimmune™'s cell therapy aims to modify the patient's immune system so that it can fight HIV like it would any normal virus. It genetically modifies the patient’s immune cells (T cells), making them more resilient to HIV infection and exhaustion, enabling these cells to respond normally to HIV instead of being "killed" by the virus. When HIV T cells survive and perform their duties, they can combat HIV just as the immune system fights off a common cold or flu.
