Basic Information
The founding team of HBNCT Technology is composed of professors and industry experts with years of experience in neutron science, medical equipment, and nuclear medicine.Professor Wang Sheng, the founder, is an internationally renowned neutron scientist, a foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, a national leading talent, and a member of the International Union for Compact Accelerator-based Neutron Sources (UCANS). He has received numerous top academic awards from organizations such as the World Nuclear Engineering Conference and the China Invention Association. During his time working in Japan, Professor Wang led the construction of several accelerator-based neutron sources with leading performance metrics and made significant contributions to the miniaturization of accelerator neutron sources. In 2015, Professor Wang returned to China and established the Advanced Neutron Technology Lab (ANT Lab) at Xi’an Jiaotong University, where he led his team in developing the latest generation BNCT system, achieving a series of breakthrough results.Currently, the company has developed full-process capabilities in the research, design, and engineering implementation of devices, drugs, and software related to accelerator-driven boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT), achieving independent intellectual property rights and fully localized production in China. HBNCT Technology has successfully completed the engineering implementation of the world’s first animal-use accelerator-driven BNCT device. The clinical-use high-intensity accelerator-driven BNCT device has completed its design and manufacturing phases and has now entered the equipment assembly stage.
