As of December 2018, the company's market capitalization was approximately AUD 36.147 billion. Wesfarmers operates across various sectors, including retail (Bunnings, Officeworks, Target, and Kmart), energy and fertilizers, personal protective equipment, and industrial divisions. In December 2018, the company sold its coal asset, Bengalla, completing a strategic exit from the coal industry.
